February was an extremely busy month for Dilcara with six active sites running.
In the Western Sydney suburb of Minto, we completed a residential, 22 townhouse development. We were engaged for a Design and Build service on this project and it culminated to a finish with the landscaping and construction of a cul-de-sac for the site in the back end of February. Handover to our client Ramm investments is soon to come.
Over in Sydney’s Northern Beaches we have two sites currently active; the first of which is in Dee Why, designed by PBD architects and consists of 16 luxury units over 2 basements levels.
The second in Balgowlah, scheduled for completion in April this year which is a dual occupancy development over a basement. These luxurious penthouse style residences were designed by Cradle.
We were engaged by our client Thirdi for an Early Works Contract at their site in Kurraba Point which included Demolition, Shoring, Bulk earth-works and utility infrastructure upgrades. This project was scheduled for completion in March however the team put in an amazing effort and got the job done in February, successfully removing over 21,000m3 of soil.
In Alexandria Stage 2 of a project, the internal fit-off is coming to a close. This was for the site that we had previously been engaged on for an adaptive reuse and base build. The development is now almost ready for the warehousing and commercial tenants to move in.
The demolition, bulk excavation and concrete slab pouring at a new site in Bankstown is also now complete. The project is made up of 31 units above a single basement.
It is safe to say that we’re in for a busy year with several more jobs scheduled to start soon. All the respective teams on each site have done a fantastic job meeting all financial and time constraints, a great result for all involved.
